How well do you know the person who represents you on the Manistee City Council?  Do you know what the Council members think are the most important issues Manistee faces or what the direction of development and growth should be?  

We will provide a unique event for residents to hear Council members express their vision and priorities for the City of Manistee, plus an opportunity for council members to hear and listen to the concerns of the citizens.  The LWV hopes this “Special Session of the Manistee City Council” will be an informal exchange of ideas. This special League program will be Thursday, March 9th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Manistee County Intermediate School District (ISD) office at 772 E. Parkdale Avenue.  A light soup supper will be provided.

The objective of this program is to get to know and understand each other better through open communication.  There are several new faces on the City Council and the LWV felt it was time to get better acquainted.
