At our January meeting we continue our exploration of water issues with special guests including Brian Thurston from Michigan DEQ, Drinking Water Quality, Tom Reichard from District 10 Health Department, and Jeff Mikula from the City of Manistee Department of Public Works, who will help us understand more about our drinking water, the safety regulations involving well and septic systems, and the risks of contaminants such as PFAs and lead to public health. This program will be held at the Manistee County ISD (Intermediate School District Office), 772 E. Parkdale, A light soup supper will be served.
