Our April meeting will be devoted to getting everyone up to speed on Promote the Vote 2022. This important ballot proposal, if passed, will add more voter protections to our state constitution. LWV of Michigan is working with several other groups to help secure 425,059 valid signatures by July 11th to put the initiative on the November ballot. Volunteers are needed to circulate petitions and all League members need to be informed about Promote the Vote 2022 so they can provide others in our community with factual, reliable information about voting and this ballot initiative.
